Download Meeter Desktop App

  1. Click Download for macOS to download Meeter.dmg
  2. Double-click the downloaded file to open it.
  3. Drag and drop the Meeter icon directly into your Applications folder.
  4. Launch Meeter from Applications, Launchpad, or Spotlight (⌘ + Space).

macOS Gatekeeper NotemacOS Security

If macOS displays a security prompt saying "App downloaded from internet", click Open. If blocked by Gatekeeper, navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Security quick check:
1. Click Open on initial launch prompt.
2. Allow System Permissions in Step 2.

Meeter uses low-level native operating system window flags (NSWindowSharingNone on macOS and WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE on Windows) that are designed to exclude it from screen-capture pipelines.

On supported screen-sharing applications and video capture pipelines, the video encoder is designed to exclude the Meeter window from the capture. The teleprompter remains visible only to you on your local display.
